Gino was obsessed with all types of music from an early age. At age 7 his talent for piano playing was “accidently” unmasked when he borrowed his neighbor’s keyboard and complete songs came flowing out right away.

His father did not hesitate for a moment and took the first flight to Miami where he bought the biggest and fanciest keyboard he could afford. After that Gino was almost reported as ‘missing in action’ since he used to lock himself up in his room for many days practicing his newfound passion.

Discovering ‘the power of music’ and that he could reach out to people trough this wonderful medium was so fulfilling to him that he had no choice but to make music his life.

By the time he went to college, Gino was already a self-taught professional lightning up the stages as a pianist for corporate events, hotels, bars and private venues.

After college he passed the audition at the van Sweelinck Conservatorium in Amsterdam, but had a hard time letting his unique self-taught skills go. So instead of losing these skills he embraced them and pursued a sound engineering study in the States, Ohio to further develop his ‘hearing’ and bringing his own music to a higher level.

On a vacation trip to Holland he found himself a new passion, his life partner MJ. He decided to stay next to her and continued his successful musical career throughout Europe while raising his family.

Three kids and a lot of enlightening years later he got back to his beloved island to give his children the same ‘sound’ upbringing he had enjoyed during his own childhood.

Curacao welcomed him back with a warm embrace. Since 2007 Gino is enjoying the Caribbean way of life with his family.
